Scott McTominay: Napoli and Manchester United agree on €30 million transfer fee
Napoli have agreed to pay around €30 million (£25.4 million) to Manchester United for midfielder Scott McTominay. Although personal terms are still pending and McTominay has yet to confirm his move to the Serie A side, this marks the second consecutive year that United have shown a willingness to sell the academy product.
Earlier in August, United turned down a £20 million offer from Fulham for the Scotland international. Last season, McTominay declined a move to West Ham and instead made 32 Premier League appearances, scoring seven goals for United. He also started in the FA Cup final win against Manchester City.
This season, he has been used as a substitute in both Premier League matches. Manager Erik ten Hag is looking to strengthen his squad and values McTominay’s homegrown status, which provides additional flexibility under Premier League financial regulations.

United are also interested in Paris Saint-Germain’s Uruguay international Manuel Ugarte but have yet to finalize a deal with the French club.
