How to create a search engine optimization (SEO) content/post

Search engine optimization tutorial is one of the most viral posts that is going on in the internet. Many bloggers post on their blog example How to rank higher on google search result, How to get more traffic on your blog etc. It is good when you think of SEO first, when starting a blog or creating a website. If you have not yet started your own blog yet and you are interested in starting one please kindly read my post on how to create or start a blog step by step, read it line by line within few minutes you are done, your blog will be up running on the internet with less effort. Back to business, SEO is very important when starting a website or a blog, but thinking of google first before the user of your blog is not the best option. I want you to understand that you are not creating the website or the blog for google so seo should not be the first thing you take into consideration rather the user. Bear it in mind that the post on your blog is not for google (seo) rather for the user of your blog that is visitors, that you are creating the content for, so when writing any blog post, it’s not google (seo) you should consider first but the user (visitors) of your blog and when google sees that your blog is relevant to the user they will consider it good for them to rank your post. I am not saying you should not put SEO into consideration, you should, but it should not be the primary target rather, it should be secondary thing to think about, remember the authenticity of your blog post matters.

Now the question that comes to mind is how do I write a SEO content or post? If you must write a SEO contents or post on your blog there are certain things you need to consider.

The primary things you need to consider are:

Valuation of post

What do I mean by valuation of post? According to oxford dictionary, Valuation simply means an estimation of the worth of something, especially one carried out by a professional value. Before posting any content on your blog, do ensure you read and edit your post before you post it on your blog; secondly put yourself in the condition of a user after reading your write up, on your own does it make meaning to you? Does it sound helpful to you as the writer? Is there any changes you have to make before posting on your blog? If yes, sleep over it, think of how to make it relevant to any one that will come across your blog or post, does your post worth someone searching or hunting for? If it is to you, that means someone else will look for it and will value it when they come across it.

Do the needful because when the needful is done, the user will be happy to return to your blog and also recommend it to others. Remember, your blog serve as a container that houses your post which is the content. Note: no one cares how beautiful your blog is; rather their concern is in the post or content. No matter how a juice container is beautiful, no one cares about the container rather, the content and when the content is drained, the container is useless, as a blogger, if a user considers your blog posts relevant to them like I said before they will make use of it and also recommended those that are in need of such content.

Note: when it’s useful to the user or the reader, it will be useful to google and google will optimize it (seo), understand that, the way user read your blog post google also do a review of your blog posts before indexing your blog. No one wants to associate with anything that does not worth anything. Always make your blog post meaningful to you first. When it’s meaningful to you as the writer, it will be meaningful to the visitor or the reader, and also to google before crawler crawl your blog, when all of the above is done seo will not be a rock breaking issue.

Make your post unique

The uniqueness of your blog post will bring more traffic to your blog or website, make it the best of it kind, that is being the only one of its type, let be as if no such post has ever been writing in any blog before, try to be creative even when you are writing about the same thing thousands of bloggers has already written about on their blog, I explain this point in one of my post Top eight ways to become an influential and a successful blogger in any niche of your choice. Being outstanding in your write up will make users to return to your blog after the first visit. Note: even if you have been able to meander your way and do all the necessary seo for google to index your blog and your blog post happen to show on the first page of google search result and the user click on the link due to the uniqueness of your post title and get to discover that what they saw on the post title is not what they see in the main content and cannot solve their problem, they will run away never to return, because no one want to be bored with some useless blog post that does not make meaning to them. Generally, try to be unique in whatever thing you do.

Make your post simple for users to understand

As a blogger or a writer you are, try to put your thought about a thing into writing, the main reason of writing your post is to help someone out there, I know that no one will be in a conversation that he or she does not understand, writing a book or a blog post is like opening a conversation with people, you want them to understand you. But if you are using the kind of grammars that will through readers into confusion they have no option than to back out. Note that it’s not everybody that will have to consult their dictionary while reading online, please don’t kill the visitor of your blog with grammars because when they depart, they will never return. Try to break down any grammar or a line of sentence that seems confusing. Remember no one read for reading sake, even those who make reading an hobby, they still read to understand whatever they are reading. So always make your blog post simple and clear, for a layman to understand.

Evaluate your post

You as the writer must be able to evaluate your write ups before posting it on your blog. What does it mean to evaluate? Of cause you understand what I mean to evaluate. It simply means to make a judgment about something whether that thing is good or bad, or to judge or access the worth of something. With this understanding, you definitely know whether your post is good or bad. Fellow bloggers, after writing your blog post (content) always review it and evaluate it. If it’s good for you, it will definitely be good for your readers.
